This landscape note maps the current state of green economy and environment-related communication in Haryana, prepared as a foundational background note to inform a future statewide Green Economy Communication Strategy. The review draws on departmental activity, district-level initiatives, CSR-supported programmes, and civil society work to assess how Haryana currently communicates on themes including air quality, renewable energy, water conservation, plantation, waste management, and green mobility. It outlines eight recommendations centred on building a shared communication architecture rather than just adding more content, moving from event-based outreach to sustained campaigns, and anchoring communication in visible action and verifiable progress.
